Valentines Day Poems for Wife

Valentines Day Poems for my Wife

We give on this day candy and flowers,
But we never stop to say thank you for the many hours.
You have stood by my side and gave a smile,
As if to tell our hearts it’s been worth every mile.
No need to buy a teddy bear or even a card,
It’s pretty simple and not at all hard.
Just put your arms around me and hold me tight,
And say without words that in your heart all is right.
You may say I Love You throughout the year,
But on this day you need to make sure.
The words so sweet and straight from your heart,
That your life would be lonely without my part.
So put forth the effort and take the time,
Look me in the eye and say I’m glad you’re mine
- Maria

I’m thankful that I married you;
You’re always there for me, on my side;
You’re a wonderful woman, my cherished wife;
Whenever you’re with me, I’m filled with pride.

You always look for ways to help
I’m so very grateful for all you do.
You make my life much happier
With little things, and big things, too.

I love you, and I always will
I’m so very glad that you are mine.
You’re all I’ll ever need or want
My precious wife, my Valentine
- Joanna Fuchs

My dear partner and wife,
You’re the love of my life,
And I love you much more every year.

You are kind, and you’re sweet,
And your thinking’s so neat,
That I always learn lots from you, dear.

You are generous and charming,
With a smile that’s disarming;
You are truly my pride and my pleasure.

All the things that are you
Make my dreams all come true,
And for always your love I will treasure
!- Karl Fuchs

From the first time I laid eyes on you to the last kiss on my lips,
the first time I felt your soft finger tips,
the way you held me tight, made love to me at night,
always seemed to me that in my heart
that you would see a person as loving as me
someone whose heart is true
someone just like you…
Now I sit here all alone nothing but me
and my thoughts of you all through my mind.
As if I could turn back the hands of time
to the moment when your soft lips touched mine
Elt;br> I’m sorry I didn’t mean to make you cry…
Baby, I do try
I love you and I do know why…

Gerald Lemire

Pondering deeply thoughts of the one
Who has enticed my mind and captured my heart.
I sit quietly picking my ideas apart,
Thinking of words to say to the one who placed the Sun
Up in the sky above my world,
Brightened my path that had gotten hurled
Beneath the troubles and sorrows that stumble
A man on his way to learning to love.
She showed me the Light that comes from above,
Taught me how to cry, care, and be humble,
Started the fire within my soul,
Eased my burdens by helping to carry the load.
She pointed the true direction to the only road
Out of the darkness and made me whole.
She completes me as a man, this beautiful lass.
Words can’t describe the softness of her touch
Or describe to you how I love her so much
Her kindness shines like polished brass.
Happy Valentine’s Day my dear.
May all of your dreams come true
And may God continue to show you
How to be lighthouse of hope and cheer-
John R.

For twenty years, you’ve been my wife;
By now, you are almost my life!
You seem more precious than my wealth;
You are my mind’s and body’s health!
